The Purpose of the Cross
The Cross of Christ is the centrepiece and foundation of our Christian beliefs. Paul himself confessed that he ‘resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ and him crucified’ (1 Cor 2:2). And so one of the questions we might ask ourselves about Jesus Christ and Him crucified is, ‘what was He crucified for?’
