COVID-19 Updates

Dear BBTC Family,

Church services are still ON this weekend – just that you get to enjoy them in the comfort of your home!

We encourage you to tune in to the services …

1. As a Cell Group or as a family. Of course bearing in mind all the current guidelines such as gatherings of no more than 10 people, social distancing, and social responsibility if sick.

2. At the usual time you’d attend service in Church. Let’s stay in the habit of corporate worship, and truly being one body worshipping One Lord! Our pastors and prayer ministers will also be standing by

3. With the right posture. Come prepared to meet the Lord of the House … in your house!

Which services are going online this weekend? How can you get online? See the graphics attached. More updates and the actual video links will be sent out over the weekend.

In the meanwhile, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to us on and LIKE us on to stay updated on our online services.

Until we meet online: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful!” (Colossians 3:15)

From the Senior Pastor’s Office

Dear BBTC family,⁣

With the latest guidelines announced this evening (Friday), the Senior Pastor’s Office has been in constant contact with the authorities to ensure our plans for this weekend are fully in compliance with the rules.⁣

For this weekend (March 21-22), services will go ahead with the following govt-approved measures:⁣

All 3 services will proceed at their regular timing, with 1metre social distancing between seats. However, we will cap the numbers at 250 per service in line with the new rules. Once we hit 250, attendees will be directed to Hall 2, where you can take part in the whole service via live video link. The 4th floor Gallery will be closed at all services.⁣

For the first time ever in BBTC, all 3 English services 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐞! Links will be made public and sent out as each service starts (Sat 5pm, Sun 8.30am & 10.45am)⁣

MW will proceed as usual on Sunday, with attendance capped at 250. We strongly encourage members to consider attending the first service to ensure optimal spread of members.⁣

KFC will proceed in the usual venues except for the group that usual gathers in Hall 2. Please instead send your kids to BCS Inner Hall (located near the second floor lift lobby). Children will be split up to ensure smaller sized gatherings.⁣

Will proceed as usual at Saturday, 4pm, in the Chapel, with social distancing measures in place.⁣

Will proceed as usual at Sunday, 10.45am, in the Chapel, with social distancing measures in place.⁣

In line with the new Government advisory, gatherings for the elderly – including HS and MWF – will be suspended until further notice.⁣

There will also be special exit processes to ensure minimum crowding. Listen out to instructions from the pastors. ⁣

Due to limited spaces caused by social distancing arrangements, please note that services this weekend are for BBTC MEMBERS ONLY.

Church members are strongly encouraged not to gather or congregate before and after services. Breakfast will be canceled for the time being.⁣

All the other ongoing precautionary measures – including stay-home notices for those who travel and staying home if you have any symptoms – are still in place. 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡!⁣

Thank you all for your continued cooperation. The situation changes almost daily, and as a church we are trying to respond to evolving guidelines the best we can – holding on firmly to the faith while also being fully submissive to the governing authorities. Please keep your elders, pastors and leaders in prayer; we truly need divine wisdom at such times.⁣

Dear BBTC family,

In line with the latest series of Government advisories, BBTC would like to request that you do not come to church service, cell group or other ministries and fellowships in the following scenarios:

1. If you have been overseas in the past 14 days (counting starts from your day of return to Singapore, regardless of air/sea/land transport).

2. If someone staying in the same household has been overseas in the past 14 days.

3. If you show any symptoms of illness.

4. If you or anyone in your household are on official Home Quarantine Order or Stay Home Notice

5. If you were in contact with a confirmed or suspected case in the past 14 days.

The new guidelines are effective Thursday, March 19. We know there are many different possible permutations, so if you are in any doubt, please check in with your cell leader or pastor. The key principle is social responsibility.

If you are staying home, rest assured that online sermons will be made available to you as quickly as possible.

For those coming to church, we will enforce social distancing as prescribed by the Government. We are in constant communication with Government ministries who have approved BBTC’s plans. Let’s all come in clean and go out clean.

In troubled times, let faith arise, grounded in wisdom, steeped in love.

BBTC Senior Pastor’s Office

Dear BBTC Family,

We’re moving the furniture around! All part of our making plans to ensure everyone’s safety in line with the new official recommendations for gatherings.

We know BBTCians are always adaptable and cooperative, all the more so in this evolving situation. Please heed the instructions of our friendly ushers and pastors. Thanks for your cooperation!

No change to our usual 3 service timings:
– Saturday 5pm
– Sunday 8.30am
– Sunday 10.45am (with overflow room)

We’ve opened up a 1-meter space between rows in the Sanctuary. You should leave a seat between you and the person next to you. Family members can continue to sit beside each other – you see each other every day anyway!

In the spirit of keeping gathering size manageable, we will be spreading out the congregation across both 3rd and 4th floors.

For the Sunday 10.45am Service, we may direct members to the Chapel (Level 2), which will become an overflow room where the service will be live-streamed, to ensure the Sanctuary does not get too crowded.

Will continue at Hall 1 at the same times. We encourage members to consider coming for the 8.30am service where there is more room for everyone!

Filipino friends please take note that Filipino Service will be held at Sunday 2pm at the Chapel, instead of the usual morning timing.

Kids programmes will continue as usual with no assemblies larger than 30-50 kids, in line with MOE guidelines.

Please head to Hall 1, Level 1, at the same time – 4pm on Saturday. This Hall is larger and will allow you to gather with a safe distance between each other!

Same time, same place. See you at Saturday 6.45pm in Hall 1!

The church leaders will continue to adapt and improve our processes in line with official guidelines.

Even as we urge maximum social responsibility – if you show any symptoms, if you have recent travel history, or if you had some interaction with confirmed cases, please stay home and catch the sermon when posted on Sunday afternoon – we’d like to remind everyone that this is an opportunity to exercise faith-filled, love-fuelled words and actions.

Proclaim peace to those who panic; show compassion to the caregivers; honour our frontline heroes; and above all, point people to the One who truly saves, body, soul and spirit.
