When husbands and fathers affirm nurturing, society affirms nurturing. It is then given the dignity that it must have to thrive. The wife who receives her husband’s loving leadership will bless and affirm his authority and model for their children the basis of coming under God’s authority. This is foundational to knowing how to receive and trust love, including God’s love. In it we find wholeness for ourselves, our marriages and our families to reach a very broken world.
