Purpose of MIB

To empower and support every brother in his journey to be the best that he can be sincerely and authentically.

Distinctives of MiB

a) A Safe Place (3H=1SP)

b) Band of Brothers (Ecc 4:10-13)

a) A Safe Place

In our MiB gatherings, we create a safe & positive environment (SP) to allow ourselves to be authentic and transparent with one another by observing what we call the golden rules of 3H’s.

Hats off – Whichever station in life we are in, whatever titles we hold in church & within society, whatever hats we wear, we take them off when we come together as brothers-in-Christ.
Hearts open – We bare our hearts to one another, with a posture of transparency and with no pretense.
Hands extended – We lift up our hands in prayer as we call upon God. We extend hands of warmth to greet as we welcome one another in fellowship. We stretch out our hands to pat, to encourage and affirm one another.

b) Band of Brothers

“If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ec 4:10-13

One of the core value in BBTC is that there is no lone ranger Christian. We need the support of a band of brothers for the various seasons of our lives to share in our joy, our grief, our concerns and ultimately our lives.
