Vision is the ultimate key to life; without it, our lives lack lasting meaning or purpose. The greatest vision a person can ever have is the vision of Jesus. Based on Matthew 9:35-38, the sermon explained what Jesus saw spiritually.
The book of Matthew is systematically structured to show us the heart of God’s mission. From Matthew 4 to 9, Jesus actively proclaimed the Good News and healed the sick. In Matthew 10, He immediately sent His disciples out to do the exact same. Right between these two movements sits Matthew 9:35–38, where Jesus reveals His spiritual vision to us.
