Job Description
We are looking to hire a skilled IT Executive / Senior Executive to join our team and take charge of server management, network administration, application support, email systems, database management, and IT security. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, while proactively managing system updates and security protocols to safeguard organisational data and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure and System Management
– Oversee server, network, and firewall management, ensuring systems are operating optimally and securely.
– Plan for system upgrades and maintenance, replacing aging IT systems and ensuring seamless operation of applications such as CCTV, Church Management System (Genesis), ACCPAC, iHRMS, and Digital Signage.
– Ensure system monitoring and performance, maintaining high-security surveillance systems and cloud services.
System and Application Support
– Provide IT support for Windows and Mac OS, troubleshooting and resolving issues on staff PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
– Offer technical support for internal systems, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Cloud and Security Administration
– Manage Microsoft 365 services (E1, E2), including user account management for internal and external users, email systems, and security policies.
– Enforce cybersecurity policies, monitor security certificates, and ensure compliance with critical patches and security standards.
– Configure and maintain endpoint security systems, including antivirus software and Azure cloud-based security tools.
Vendor and Asset Management
– Coordinate with third-party vendors for system implementation, support, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality service delivery.
– Ensure license and inventory management, maintaining compliance with IT software licenses and tracking IT hardware and software assets.
Prerequisites
Requirements
Education & Experience
– Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Prior experience in IT infrastructure management, server/network administration, and IT support in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience administering cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom).
– Proven ability to liaise and coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related projects.
Technical Knowledge
– Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and applications.
– Understanding of cybersecurity protocols, patch management, and endpoint security tools.
– Familiarity with server and network management, including firewall configurations.
Skills & Qualities
– Excellent troubleshooting abilities, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.
– Capable of working independently while being an effective team player.
– Reliable, responsible, and meticulous with a proactive approach to IT management.
