Spiritual Parenting (1 Thessalonians 2:8-12)

In his letter to the Church at Thessalonica, Paul talks about his journey as their spiritual father, demonstrating how he walked with them in their faith, and urging them to prepare for the King’s return. It is in light of Jesus’ impending return that Paul beseeched them – and us – to be imitators of him (1 Thess 2:14a; 1 Thess 1:6), to build strong relationships, and to bring all glory to God. This week, Elder Kok Guan dives deeper into the ways we can help one another grow in the Lord, and how we are to be spiritual parents to others.
