The Gospel of John records several miracles performed by Jesus. A miracle is a supernatural event that involves an act from God. These miracles are not merely demonstrations of divine power. They are signs intended to reveal Jesus’ identity as the Son of God and the Saviour of the world. The repeated emphasis throughout the Gospel is the call to believe. Through belief in Jesus, we are promised not only eternal life but also abundant life.
