Jehovah Tsidkenu

The fifth redemptive name of God is Jehovah Tsidkenu (meaning “still, straight” as in a standard of measurement against God’s holy nature), the Lord Our Righteousness, who guides us in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3b). Remembering that the three concurrent streams of the character of God includes righteousness (Jeremiah 9:23-24), we are urged to exercise His righteousness in our lives as our righteousness.
