Ps Daniel Wee stated that the Gospel of John is broadly divided into two parts: John 1-11 is about who Jesus is and John 12-21 focuses on the mission of Jesus. John 12:24 is the turning point of John’s Gospel in which the metaphor of a grain of wheat falling to the ground and dying is used to illustrate the sacrifice of Jesus.
